Day 2 Breakfast, Sightseeing tour of PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Situated 5 km east of Kathmandu, the temple of Lord Shiva is considered one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. The two-tiered pagoda with golden roofs and silver doors houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple existed before 400 A.D. Near the Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River lies Guheswari, where, according to mythology, a portion of Sati Devi, Lord Shiva’s consort, fell when a grief-stricken Shiva wandered aimlessly across the earth carrying her dead body on his shoulders following her self-immolation.

Later continue on the Sightseeing tour of KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Situated in the heart of old Kathmandu city at Basantapur, Kathmandu Durbar Square never fails to impress first time visitors with its ensemble of palaces, courtyards and temples built during the Malla period. The Durbar Square includes the Hanuman Dhoka Royal Palace, the historic seat of the royalty; the magnificent Taleju Temple towering more than 40 meters; Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari; Ashok Vinayak, also called Kathmandu Ganesh, a temple without a filial ; and Kal Bhairav, the God of Wrath. The capital takes its name from the giant pagoda of Kasthamandap, which is said to have been built out of a single tree. Since the time of the Malla kings, the Durbar Square has been the city’s social, religious and political focal point. - Overnight Hotel

Day 3 Kathmandu to Pokhara ( 6 Hrs/ 200 KM ) In the morning we drive to Pokhara, the finishing point for the famous Annapurna Circuit trek and the starting point for various other treks through the Annapurna Range. Pokhara became a popular tourist destination in the 1970s, popular then for its laid back setting and idyllic scenery. It has rapidly developed since then into a modern mountain resort and offers a last chance stop for trekking supplies. Yet it retains much charm, with its calm lakes and surrounding snowy peaks offering serenity to those who visit. Upon arrival we will tour around this small town and absorb the scenery of the Himalaya Region. Enjoy the view of the mountain peaks of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail, the Annapurna Foothills and Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal.

Afternoon, Sightseeing tour of Devi's Fall Locally known as Patale Chhango, Devi's Fall (also known as Devil’s, Devin's or David's) is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David...) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Gupteswar (Cave) Gupteswar Gupha is a sacred cave located near Devi's Fall. The cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages. This cave holds special value for Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered. An entrance fee of Rs. 5 is charged, and taking pictures inside the cave is prohibited.

Peace Pagoda Balanced on a narrow ridge high above Phewa Tal, the brilliant-white World Peace Pagoda was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organisation. There are three paths up to the pagoda and several small cafes once you arrive- Overnight Hotel

Day 4 In Pokhara- Morning Boating at Fewa Lake. Visit Barahi Temple. Built on an island in Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protectress deity representing the female force. Devotees can be seen, especially on Saturdays, carrying animals across the lake to be sacrificed to the deity.

Continue, Bindhyabasini Temple and Mahendra Cave Bindhyabasini Temple is the center of religious activity in the old bazaar. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, yet another manifestation of Shakti. The park-like grounds offer a fine picnic area, and on Saturdays and Tuesdays when devotees flock there to offer sacrifices, take on a festive local flavor- Overnight Hotel

Day 5 Pokhara to Kathmandu( 6 Hrs/ 200 KM ) Drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival we transfer to our hotel. Afternoon Free for visit THAMEL: As the tourist district of Kathmandu, Thamel bustles with activity late into the night. It is a mere10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city. Thamel caters entirely to tourists with its scores of hotels, rows of restaurants and bars, book shops, inviting souvenir shops, cyber cafes and travel agencies. Day 6 Final Depart Kathmandu with traditional farewell in Sherpa style.
