Gear to GO

The weight limit on most airlines is 20 kilos in 1 checked bag. You don’t need much. Kathmandu is casual and we give you a Trek Pack for the duration of the trip, consisting of: *DUVET JACKET.*SLEEPING BAG & THERMAL LINER. *PONCHO. *DUFFEL BAG & T-SHIRT- Gifts to you

Everything is cleaned at the end of each trek, but you can bring your own gear if you feel more comfortable. However, do consider the weight and expense. Domestic Airlines only allow 15 kg per passengers and that includes hand baggage. Therefore, limit your weight to 10 kg for the trek and 5 kg for hand baggage or day pack which will help you to be more agile and comfortable.

We give you the best equipment, so we ask that you DO NOT put anything near open flames or use force on zips. We’ve listed everything you MAY need, according to average weather trends. However, Himalayan conditions are unpredictable, so you need to be prepared for everything; it can snow or the temperature can drop any time. If you wish to take your chances with less, it is your responsibility. Wear natural fibres or ‘outdoor’ material, like pile/fleece. We list the best option, but you can use what you already own, e.g. a torch instead of a headlamp. Gear marked ## is cheap to hire/buy in Kathmandu. This list is comprehensive, but general, so please adjust it for personal requirements.
