Meet your guide at your hotel lobby and enjoy half-day excursion to twin village of Bungamati and Khokna located south of Kathmandu city. Being so close of Kathmandu, twin village of Bungamati and Khokana still preserve ancient attire and touch.
As you walk the streets of Bungamati, you will see the typical Newari houses and carved windows. The local people mostly engage on traditional wood carving and sculptors. You can find typical Nepali handicrafts on bargain price. Explore the local village with other attractions like Rato machindra Nath temple which is regarded as the patron of the valley.
After visit you can walk/drive to Khokana village. Visit Karya Binayak temple located on the way. The view from this temple with farmland is wonderful. Khokana is small Newari village which is famous for Mustard oil. Most of the people in this village are farmers. Windows decorated with Chili, Garlic and Onion garlands and people busy on their farm works gives excellent opportunity to witness the life inside typical Nepalese rural village.
After sightseeing tour, you will drive back to your hotel located in Kathmandu.
