Donate to the "AmaDablam Social Welfare Fund"

Your small contribution educates a child! And helps make the world a better place!

The money you contribute goes into the account of the AmaDablam Social Welfare Trust Fund managed by the committee and will address the needs and requirements of a particular project concerning orphans and the needy. In particular, the money you contribute goes towards the following causes:

a. Construction of drinking water facilities for schools in rural areas of Nepal b. Roofing of school buildings in rural/remote areas of Nepal c. Procurement of furniture for schools as most small children take classes sitting on the floors d. Constructionof schools in remote regions e. Contributions to Bal Mandira. Construction of drinking water facilities for schools in rural areas of Nepal

HOW IT ALL WORKS:

A. Dollar A Day Programme. In this programme, if you are in a trip of, say, 17 days with us in an Everest Base Camp Trek, then you pay a sum amounting to 17 dollars in total. You can pay the amount on the 17th day of your trip. One advantage of this option is that when you donate a certain amount, we at AmaDablam will also donate the matching amount to the fund so that your contribution becomes more effective.So, if you pay 17 dollars following the 17 days of your trip with us, then the total amount going to the fund will be 34 dollars.

B. Direct Payment (Free). If you choose to pay directly to the orphanage of Bal Mandir, the amount you pay would go to the Orphanage Account in their Bank directly. In addition, you can also donate stationery and books. It is completely up to you to decide what you donate, how much you pay into the account, and so on.

C. Donate 300$ for a Year. In this case, you can pay the amount to the AmaDablam Social Welfare Trust Fund or choose to donate the amount to the Bal Mandir's bank account directly. In both the cases, a child will be selected according to his/her need and the amount you donate goes to finance that child's education for a year. You can continue to contribute until the child completes his/her High School after 12 years, so his/her once gloomy future is brightened beyond measure.becomes an eligible someone in his/her life that is certain to bring a light in his/her otherwise doomed life.

D. Sponsor a Child. In this programme, you will be sponsoring a child for his/her education until s/he completes secondary education leading to the completion of a 12-year education. This will prepare your ward to either enter the university or at least find a job and be independent. The amount you contribute would be at the rate of US$300 a year for twelve years. The amount can go to the account of AmaDablam Social Welfare Trust Fund or to the account of Bal Mandir\'s account directly which will be supervised by AmaDablam Social Welfare Committee. All options of your charitable efforts are open to your decision as to how you want to contribute.

E. Free Voluntary Donations. In addition to the methods mentioned above, you can also choose to donate reading materials and stationary, clothes, pens, pencils, books, shoes, or whatever you think you want to contribute, to the schools and their students you meet along the way while you are on a trip/trek with us.
